Plant protection
This area in landscape architecture, and especially in horticulture, is based on finding adequate measures to combat diseases and pests plants, and to a certain extent in ways of fighting weeds, as one of the most common problems on green areas.
Contemporary plant protection existing challenges are solved by integrating all available knowledge and good practices, which include chemical, but also preventive, mechanical and biological measures. When we talk about chemical measures, plant protection is ensured by the use of means for plant protection, which achieve their effect against harmful organisms thanks to active substances. When preparing and applying plant protection products, it is necessary to ensure safe use. In this way we do:

- Suppression of entomological damage
- Suppression of phytopathological damage
- Preventive (seasonal) protection

Listed categories plant protection in green areas are based on preventive or repressive measures of partial or complete removal of attacks by harmful organisms, be it insects, rodents or plant diseases. After the newly formed green areas, our proposal is to start immediately with preventive measures in order to avoid the appearance of overpopulation of insects or a greater settlement of pathogens.
