-Aspidistra comes from the Lilaceae family. This is an easy-to-grow indoor plant with almost no requirements. It comes from the hilly parts of China, and some call it the poor man's palm because it tolerates a lot of carelessness.<\/p>\n
MAINTENANCE AND CARE:<\/p>\n
-As for this plant, it can be kept in all places in the house, even the darker ones. It would be best if it is not exposed to direct sunlight (if the leaves have brown and burnt parts, it means that there is too much direct sunlight). It tolerates changes in temperature, but it is best suited to a temperature of 18-24 degrees. In summer it can be taken outside, and in winter it is best to be in a closed room that does not go below 10 degrees. It tolerates drafts, dry air and dust. It is better to have less moisture, since it cannot tolerate a large amount, and the leaves start to turn yellow, split and curl. It is best to cut the damaged parts with scissors. As for pruning, they are pruned only in the parts of the branches where the flowering zone is. In the spring, it is recommended to remove the thin shoots that grew during the winter. At the end of March, you can trim unbranched branches to form a denser canopy. In autumn, this plant sheds its leaves.<\/p>\n
When it comes to watering, abundant watering is necessary in the summer, but water must not remain in the mat because, as we mentioned, it is sensitive to moisture. Do not water it in winter. You can occasionally wipe the leaves with a wet cloth, but never with chemical additives, but with plain water.<\/p>\n
